The Partnerships Manager role is pivotal in advancing Ski Utah's marketing and fundraising initiatives. This position focuses on cultivating and expanding corporate partnerships, both brand-wide and program-specific, to connect businesses with Utah's thriving winter tourism audience.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Partnership Development and Management. Identify, negotiate, and secure high-value corporate partnerships. Create strategic plans to leverage shared resources for mutual success. Oversee the execution of all agreed-upon partnership terms. Maintain and nurture relationships with current and prospective partners.

  • Reporting and Analysis. Track partnership performance and ROI. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership team

  • Value-in-Kind Program Management. Oversee the Value-in-Kind order process with multiple partners. Ensure smooth execution and maximize benefits for all parties involved.

  • Gold & Silver Pass Program. Manage sales, billing, and customer service for Gold & Silver passes. Maintain strong relationships with current and prospective pass buyers. Create and deliver added value to pass holders. Oversee programming and delivery of all Gold & Silver passes.

  • Strategic Collaboration. Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of partnership agreements. Contribute to overall strategic planning for Ski Utah's growth and success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, outdoor recreation, or related field; equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Proven professional experience in building, fulfilling, and reporting on partnership contracts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong mathematical and accounting skills; ability to troubleshoot and reconcile financial data
  • Experience in digital media and capability to craft comprehensive media packages
  • Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse business leaders from large corporations to local independent businesses
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing market conditions
  • Knowledge of the ski industry and Utah's winter tourism market is highly desirable
  • Confident skiing or snowboarding skills, with a passion for winter sports
