UNDER CURRENT CLUB HOSTS UNITED STATES BARTENDERS’ GUILD

April 17-20 Southwest Regional Conference Open to Enthusiasts

Salt Lake City (March 29, 2016) – Under Current Club Partner and General Manager Amy Eldredge is proud to be hosting the 2016 Southwest Regional Conference of the United States Bartenders’ Guild April 17-20. “This is a huge honor to host some of the top professionals in the field,” said Eldredge. “It feels like Utah has finally come of age in the burgeoning national cocktail scene. AND I really want people to know this just isn’t for bar professionals, it’s open to people who want to register as ‘enthusiasts.”

The USBG Southwest Regional Conference includes over 200 attendees from chapters from Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico and include a wide range of events including an event at Blue Sky Ranch – High West and more. “USBG Membership is a one-time yearly fee to join, but the Utah Chapter hosts several events per month,” continued Eldredge, “so it’s a fabulous value in terms of education, parties, and elbow-rubbing.”

Eldredge was honored last month to be one of 18 hottest bars in the nation to compete at Arizona Cocktail Week. She joined 18 other top bars in the country including Utah’s Bar X, Dead Rabbit (NYC), Death & Co., (NYC), Williams & Graham (CO) and Employees Only. “These events really draw in the heavy hitters,” she said. “It was such an honor to be side by side batching with the best in the country in the cocktail business. It was an incredible experience and I learned so much. I’m eager to share new ideas with our guests.”
