January 20, 2023 (BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, UT) — After 148 inches of snowfall in January, Solitude Mountain Resort has received 376 inches of snow this season. This is the earliest the resort has crossed the 350-inch threshold since the winter of 2004/05. Between December 26th and January 17th, Solitude saw an average of 8.8 inches of new snow per day.
As of today, 100% of Solitude’s skiable terrain is open. This includes sought after experts-only areas such as Fantasy Ridge, Highway to Heaven, and Evergreen Peak. With optimal coverage across the mountain, Solitude’s snowpack is at 192% of average with a base depth of 114 inches.

New for this season, Solitude has launched two live webcams giving guests a real-time perspective of the both the base and summit.
