Snowbird Launches Streamlined Guest Communications with All-New Mobile App

The Snowbird app features chairlift wait times, mountain updates, conditions and more.

Snowbird, Utah (November 19, 2020) — Enjoying a day at Snowbird is easier than ever thanks to the launch of a brand-new app now available for Snowbird skiers, riders and guests to download. Featuring information such as live chairlift status and wait times, easy access to mountain conditions and webcams, as well as the ability to track your day on the mountain and find friends, the Snowbird app allows users to explore the resort in a whole new way.

“Timely guest communication will be more important this season than ever,” said Snowbird President and General Manager Dave Fields. “Through this new app we aim to provide robust communication by sharing important updates regarding terrain openings, road conditions, new snowfall and more, all while enhancing the guest experience on the mountain.”

The Snowbird app will be updated in real-time to allow users to plan with confidence, knowing they have all of the information they need in one place, on their phone. Additionally, those who opt-in to push notifications will be among the first to know when important updates in lift status changes and road closures occur. The app is available for download on both iOS and Android phones immediately via the App Store and Google Play.
