Snowbasin Ends Summer Season with a Bang

Join Snowbasin Resort for the last few weeks of summer operations in early October. The gondola runs Saturdays 10:00 am – 6:00 pm with Needles Lodge serving up a scrumptious lunch. On Sundays, the gondola runs 10:00 am -6:00 pm with free live music and events at Earl’s Lodge.

Snowbasin, UT September  2017 –Join Snowbasin Resort for the last few weeks of summer operations in early October. The gondola runs Saturdays 10:00 am 6:00 pm with Needles Lodge serving up a scrumptious lunch. On Sundays, the gondola runs 10:00 am -6:00 pm with free live music and events at Earl’s Lodge. Take the time to stop by the Grizzly Center and pick up your season pass for this winter, so you can head directly to the lift on opening day. Besides the general hours of operation, Snowbasin is offering an array of events to finish out an amazing summer.

Come view the changing leaves and spend the afternoon in the high alpine environment tasting local beers and listening to free live music at the annual Basin Beer Fest on Sunday, October 1st. Over 14 local breweries, Bavarian themed food and free live music is the perfect way to enjoy the changing of the seasons. Basin Beer Fest will feature beers from Bohemian Brewery, Uinta Brewing, Squatters Beers, Wasatch Beers, Red Rock Brewery, Roosters Brewery, 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Payette Brewing Company and more. Admission to the Beer Fest is free and 6 oz. samples of beer are available by purchasing tokens at just $2.50 each. Purchase the tokens individually or package them with the special Snowbasin beer tasting mug to save money. If you want to feel like a king or queen you can purchase the King of Beer Fest package which includes mug, tokens, a crown, and front of the line service while wearing the crown. Snowbasin only sells 50 of these packages. 

The last day to enjoy regular summer operations at Snowbasin Resort is Sunday, October 8. Delight in the last brunch of the season at Needles Lodge (prior reservations required) and then start dreaming of winter at the Pray for Snow Party. Enjoy a vendor village highlighting the best parts of Snowbasin, free live music from Talia Keys, a beer garden, a fashion show of the latest winter apparel, a Wolf Creek Resort staycation giveaway, a Rossignol ski and snowboard raffle, a new unveiling of basin parks, the only Utah showing of the Good Company movie, and a free 1/2 price ticket voucher for the 2017-2018 winter season.
