PARK CITY RESTAURANTS UNVEIL EASTER SPECIALS

Celebrate Easter with Park City-area restaurants, several are serving a wide range of delicious brunches, prix-fixe menus, and special dishes.

PARK CITY, Utah (March 26, 2015) — Celebrate Easter with Park City-area restaurants, several are serving a wide range of delicious brunches, prix-fixe menus, and special dishes.

 

“Easter is such a special time for friends and family to enjoy great food together,” PCARA executive director Ginger Ries said. “Whether you live in Park City or you’re simply visiting, join us at one of Park City’s world-renowned restaurants for truly tasty and memorable meals.”

 

Easter Sunday this year is April 5. Read on for the details on local restaurants’ holiday specials:

 

Bandits          

Buffet: 10 a.m – 3 p.m.

The Easter Bunny will be hopping by Park City’s favorite down-home mainstay for wood-fired barbecue, homemade sauces and sides. It’s a true family occasion featuring a buffet with something for everyone: savory prime rib, smoked ham, breakfast skillets, sweet potato pancakes, breakfast burritos, tri-tip steak and eggs and more – plus photos with the bunny himself and plenty of treats for the kiddos.

Billy Blanco’s Motor City Grill, Burger and Taco Garage is hosting a free Easter Egg hunt, perfect for children and families. Then stick around for a delicious dinner of Tex-Mex staples, plus a range of kid-friendly selections.

The Brass Tag, home to Deer Valley-inspired brick oven cuisine in a warm lodge setting, will be serving a delectable three-course prix fixe Easter dinner for two. Start with a crisp spring green salad, then enjoy rosemary-and-mint crusted rack of New Zealand Lamb served with herb-roasted fingerling potatoes, cauliflower au gratin, Heber Valley artisan-smoked jalapeno-bacon cheddar cheese, and ham-braised Swiss chard. Finish things off with a bakers-choice of dessert. A la carte items will also be offered.

 

Cisero’s

This Main Street staple has something for everyone on Easter Sunday. Its wide-ranging brunch buffet includes a carving station, fresh fruit and pastries, Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict, baked mussels, fresh pastas and more.

Deer Valley Grocery Café is serving a western twist on a breakfast classic: enjoy an open-face egg sandwich with a sunny-side-up egg, muenster cheese, prosciutto, Struan toast and avocado.

 

Grub Steak

One of Park City’s longest-running steakhouses is offering a mouthwatering prix fixe Easter brunch. Diners can enjoy boneless rosemary leg of lamb with roasted garlic jus and slow-roasted round of beef with creamy horseradish; a cold buffet table serving grilled salmon filet, deviled eggs, and quiche with Applewood smoked bacon and gruyere cheese; a hot buffet table with scrambled eggs and home-style potatoes, coffee-rubbed strip loin, smoked bacon and country-link sausage, cheese blintzes with blueberry sauce, eggs Benedict, chicken stuffed with prosciutto and Swiss cheese basil cream sauce, and more. There will also be made-to-order omelets and selections of cheeses, crepes, pastries, fruits, and desserts.

            The first name in Sunday buffets is serving a giant gourmet Easter brunch. Choose from more than three-dozen items – salads, soups, fruit and cheese platters, smoked seafood, sushi and sashimi, steamed mussels, braised Wagyu short ribs, stuffed roasted portabellas, eggs, lamb, waffles, ham, and so much more – all prepared by some of the best chefs in Utah. Kids get their very own buffet, too.

 

Waldorf Astoria

Powder at the Waldorf Astoria is pulling out all the stops. Eat your way through every meal of the day, from expertly-prepared eggs and brioche French toast, to a carving station with prime rib and porchetta, seafood selections of jumbo prawns, Utah trout and West Coast oysters, entrees of short ribs, grilled ocean trout and organic chicken, a wide selection of salads, fruits and cheeses, plus an assortment of traditional pies, cakes, pastries and cookies.
