Surrounded by the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains, Soldier Hollow comes alive in the winter season. Beyond skiing, Winter Tubing at Soldier Hollow is unmatched with over 1,200' of sliding.
Your choice of trails: easy rollers for those just starting out or challenging Olympic-level courses. Soldier Hollow’s trails are immaculately groomed trails ensuring a fun experience for first timers and quality network of trails for expert skaters or classic ‘striders’. In the winter season, Nordic Trails open 9 am to 4:30 pm daily. Soldier Hollow is proud to be a Rossignol Demo Center offering top of the line quality classic and skate ski rentals.
Soldier Hollow boasts the longest tubing lanes in Utah. With 1,200-foot sliding lanes and convenient lift service, tubing is the perfect way to take advantage of Utah’s beautiful winters. Tubing is available in 2-hour sessions. Enjoy tubing under the stars at night with lights and rock out with the built-in sound system.
For those wishing to traverse the Olympic Nordic Trails at a slower pace, snowshoeing is a great alternative to cross country skiing. Snowshoe along the edges of the groomed trail network, follow single track trails to vantage points like the Crow’s Nest, or forge your own trail – it’s all available at Soldier Hollow. Rental gear is available.
Designed to expose youth to cross country skiing and biathlon. Three programs based on ability and age, Youth League, Development Team, and Competition Team, are offered to meet the needs of all participants. Youth of all abilities (including those who have never skied before) are welcome to participate.
