As someone who says, “Golf is the only land sport I’m not good at,” the idea of disc golf is pretty intimidating. However, without the worry of a bad swing, shanking a shot, or losing a ball altogether, disc golf in Utah’s beautiful mountains with friends sounds…FUN!

Here you’ll find the Utah resorts that offer disc golf in the summer months. 



Brian Head Resort

An ideal destination for disc golf enthusiasts, Brian Head offers a scenic and challenging 18-hole course that winds its way through the mountains. With multiple tee boxes and basket positions with stunning views, this course is fun for disc golfers of all skill levels.

Hours:
June 14, 2024–September 29, 2024
9:30AM–5PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Cost:
$15 for adults (13–64), $10 for children (4–12)
$5 disc rental

Brighton Resort
If you want to navigate technical shots through the trees, unleash big booming throws down ski runs that wind through stunning mountain terrain or just try a new sport in cooler mountain air, Brighton is a great option with two challenging courses that have tee pads for every skill level. The 9-hole course can be found just above the Majestic chairlift alongside the Lake Mary hiking trail. The 18-hole course can be accessed via a scenic ride up the Majestic chairlift or by hiking the Lake Mary Trail.

Park City Mountain Resort
Come test your precision and creativity with disc golf at Park City Mountain. The par-54 course plays a little over 5,500 feet and offers fun for all ability levels. The course is free to play, and guests can access Hole 1 via a hike up from the Canyon’s Village Base area (approx. 5 miles) or purchase a Scenic Lift Pass for the Red Pine Gondola.

Solitude Mountain Resort

Experienced disc golfers can access the Solitude Mountain Resort 18-hole course from the Sunrise chairlift, which takes you to the first tee box. Starting at 9,000 feet, this course takes you down a scenic mountainside and is considered one of Utah’s finest high-altitude courses. If you’re new to the game, you can try your hand at the 9-hole beginner's course starting from the Moonbeam base area.

10AM–6PM Thursday–Sunday

Cost:
FREE - 9-hole beginner course starting from Moonbeam base area
$20 - Sunrise Chairlift access to the first tee box
$26 – disc golf rental (includes a three-disc set, instructions, and a scorecard)
$30 –  to purchase a new disc golf set (putter, driver, midrange)
