*Friday December 1st Update*
*We've got lift off! Our ski season is underway in Utah. The snow Gods haven't really blessed us this November but we do have a storm on the horizon for late in the weekend. Not a monster dump but just enough to get our heads right. I'm expecting anywhere from 4 - 10 inches if things pan out. I'll be up at Deer Valley on Sunday enjoying some ripping groomers with maybe a few inches of Pow on top! See you there! *
As the temperatures continue to fall I wouldn't be surprised if we begin to see some of the resorts fire up their snow guns. If there is one thing I've learned living out here for past 11 years is, if you can make snow and get a mountain open for skiing and riding Brighton will get it done. Year after year Brighton always gets a jump start on the season. At the moment Brighton is scheduled to open as soon as possible. With that said, Park City Mountain and Brian Head are slated to open first.
Here's a full list of Utah resort opening dates:
Alta Ski Area: December OPEN
Beaver Mountain: TBD
Brian Head Resort: OPEN
Brighton: OPEN
Cherry Peak: December 18
Deer Valley Resort: OPEN
Eagle Point: December 21
Nordic Valley: December 14
Park City Mountain: OPEN
Powder Mountain: TBD
Snowbasin Resort: OPEN

Solitude Mountain Resort: OPEN
Sundance Mountain Resort: December 15
Excited to see you all on the slopes soon! Hopefully this year I can get back on track and ski over 100 days again. Last year, I must say was an embarrassment. I think I only skied 90 something days. I know, I know that's just unacceptable! I promise to do better this season. #seepowskipow
