As summer fades to fall and we feel the first hint of chill in the evening air, skiers and snowboarders everywhere turn their attention to the fast-fading season.
Fall signals the start of something good and what better way to celebrate than quaffing a refreshing brewski at one of our famed ski areas? Don't miss the action this autumn at the following Utah beer bashes and enjoy an excuse to welcome winter!

Beer fans will not want to miss Utah’s oldest and largest Oktoberfest. Running mid-August through October, the family-friendly atmosphere at Snowbird provides an excellent escape from summer heat or the opportunity to peep some vibrant yellow aspen leaves. Revelers can quaff either Saturday or Sunday from 12–6PM and take advantage of a fully stacked activities roster, live music and great food.
Snowbird releases a limited-edition beer stein or mug each year and we highly recommend snagging one to commemorate the good times. Participants who have purchased mugs in the past can bring them for a discount on beer. The ideal way to experience Snowbird’s Oktoberfest is to snag a weekend package with lodging, activity passes, mugs and brats. This option removes the need to designate a driver and allows beer fans to indulge in revelry. Visit Snowbird’s website for more information and package deals. You can check out our Snowbird Oktoberfest Guide for additional info.
Snowbird encourages guests to use their Free Ride Down program where guests may catch a free shuttle from the Oktoberfest Arch down to the bus stop at the 2000 E 9400 S. Once down the canyon, patrons can arrange for a friend or transit service to take them home.
