Don’t let that reputation scare you away! 65% of the mountain is considered beginner and intermediate terrain. Intermediate level skiers can find some long cruisy runs from the top of the tram and beginner skiers will find terrain all across the mountain to develop their skills. The Snowbird Mountain School has recently relocated to the newly renovated Creekside Lodge. The amazing new facility is a one stop shop for a day of mountain education. Students have a private entrance allowing for easy access to the new 500 foot “Thunder Tube”, which delivers them directly to some of the best beginner terrain off of the Baby Thunder Chairlift. Think: EASY ACCESS. Staying at the Cliff Lodge? The Snowbird Center still offers onsite lessons and services for guests.
While you're out getting face shots, exploring the mountain, and having the grown up ski experience you've been dreaming of all season, your little ones might just be getting a leg up on your ski skills while they are in the Snowbird Mountain School. They'll be riding the tram with you before you know it. And watch out, pretty soon YOU will be trying to keep up with THEM as they cruise those classic Snowbird lines.
