Snowbird comments:
Good morning! It’s Cassidy with your daily snow report. Howdy shredders, what a weekend it was up at The Bird. We said goodbye to Gad Valley, enjoyed a few powder days and reminisced about the season. Shed a tear but not to worry, we still have over a month left of skiing/riding up at Snowbird. Also, much to my surprise, we’ve got some snow showers forecasted through the morning today. Then the sunshine comes out for some afternoon ripping. It’s a bit chilly this morning so conditions may start firm, but the groomers should be spectacular. Anticipate temperatures near 48° with wind gusting near 50 mph. Conditions permitting, Snowbird will be spinning 4 lifts today, including the Aerial Tram, Mineral Basin, Chickadee and Little Cloud. Wilbere, Mid-Gad, Gadzoom, Gad 2, Baldy Express, the Alta/Bird Connection, Baby Thunder, Baby Thunder Conveyor and Chickadee Conveyor are now CLOSED for the season. Peruvian and the Peruvian Tunnel will now run only Saturdays and Sundays for the remainder of the season. Check out the Snowbird Spring Surf Season Schedule for more info. Calling all passholders! The Spring Lodging Sale (Passholder Appreciation Spring Lodging Sale, that is) has been extended through the end of the winter season, just for you. Book your stay at The Cliff Lodge for just $199/night through May 26. Not a passholder? Now’s the perfect chance to join The Bird. Season Passes are on sale now. Buy one today and start skiing or riding TODAY. Plus, if you purchase a season pass before May 14, you'll get a FREE 18 & Under Kids Freeloader Pass. For those driving SR-210, make sure your car is winter-ready and compliant with the UDOT traction law. All uphill travel is CLOSED for the season now that Snowbird is open for lift-service skiing and riding. See you on the slopes!
