Albany Miller
After a childhood spent playing in the Wasatch Mountains, Albany chose to attend the close-to-home Utah Valley University. A church mission to Peru, marrying her high school sweetheart and a corporate job in partnerships and events followed. Enticed by the prospect of “selling something I’m passionate about,” in 2023 Albany joined Ski Utah where she manages community programs that share skiing with kids and underserved populations. In her free time, Albany travels, water skis and wakeboards. Regarding her “Babe” nickname: “When my little brother was learning to talk,” Albany says,” he couldn’t pronounce Albany and called me Babe. The name stuck and, ever since, I’ve been known as Babe much more often than Albany.”
Albany's duties at Ski Utah include:
- Managing all office assets and the 4th Grade Learn to Ski & Ride Program.
- Sales and management of all Yeti Pass and Student Passport programs
- Schedule and organize member events and Board of Directors meetings.
- Managing the Disvoer Winter program.
