Utah is committed to giving everyone the best experience possible on the slopes. Weather you are powder hound, a cruiser on the groomers or a beginner, Utah has everything to offer. To make the deal even sweeter, there are plenty of packages to help subsidize the cost for families and immerse new skiers/riders to the sport we love.
Ski Utah Passport
One option is Ski Utah's 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Passport Program, which is offered to kids nationwide. Students receive three free lift tickets at each of Utah's 15 resorts for around $69, that's 45 days of skiing in Utah!
Alta
If you can only make a few turns in the afternoon Alta's Sunnyside At 3 program allows skiers access to the Sunnyside chair at 3pm, with direct-to-lift access, any day of the season! Or opt for Alta's Gold Card which also grants you the Sunnyside At 3 access but also offers you 50% lift ticket rates when your ready to explore more of Alta's famous terrain., learn more about these options.
Beaver Mountain
In northern Utah, Beaver Mountain offers their Learn-to-Turn ($90) The Learn-To-Turn program is a single group lesson starting you off at the very beginning. The price includes rental equipment, an all-day Little Beaver lift pass, and a 2-hour group lesson. Level 2 and level 3 lessons are also available. Beaver Mountain also offers their a Beaver Mountain offers their 1-2-3 Lesson. ($250) A progression of three (3) lessons, enabling the participant to progress his or her skills throughout the season at their own pace of learning. This package starts you at the very beginning and includes rentals and lift passes to get you through those lessons. Upon completion of all 3 lessons, the participant is awarded a Little Beaver Season Pass, good for the remainder of the current season. This program is for the student who has NEVER been on the snow before. If you have had a lesson in the past and just need a refresher, the single Learn-To-Turn lesson is your best option.
Brian Head
Brian Head's new Free On-Snow Experience is designed for first-time skiers and snowboarders aged 13 and up. With the purchase of a $30 lift ticket and a $25 rental package, participants receive a complimentary 2.5-hour lesson that provides a safe, supportive introduction to the slopes.
Brighton
Brighton Resort kids 6 and under to ski for free all season long with a paying adult. All it takes is an adult with either a lift ticket, season pass or Go Card and they can claim up to two tickets for children 6 & under.
Cherry Peak
Cherry Peak Offers one of the most affordable options with their Beginner Super Pack, offering 5 half-day group lesson, 5 full-day equipment rental, 5 full-day ski passes, and upon completion an all-access 365-day season pass for only $299!
Nordic Valley and Brian Head

Park City Mountain
Park City launched Epic SchoolKids in Utah, offering five free days of skiing and riding at Park City for all Utah's Kids, Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Spaces fill quickly!
